Overview
We are seeking an aspiring and analytical Junior Product Manager to support the lifecycle of next-generation communication solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering and business strategy, ensuring the seamless delivery of innovative CPaaS products. You will assist in requirements gathering, backlog management, and market analysis, working intimately with cross-functional teams to align product development with overarching business goals. Key Responsibilities
Product Lifecycle & Strategy
Requirements Management: actively assist in gathering, documenting, and refining product requirements from stakeholders to ensure clarity and feasibility.
Backlog Optimization: Support backlog grooming sessions, ensuring tasks are prioritized effectively to align with product roadmaps and sprint objectives.
Strategic Alignment: Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure product strategies are consistently aligned with broader business goals.
Market Intelligence & Data
Market Research: Conduct foundational market research and competitor analysis to provide actionable insights for product improvement and innovation.
Performance Tracking: Monitor product performance metrics and assist in preparing detailed reports for senior stakeholders using data analysis tools.
Trend Awareness: Stay updated on CPaaS trends, emerging technologies, and customer feedback to contribute fresh ideas for innovative solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Team Synergy: Collaborate proactively with Engineering, UX, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure product requirements are communicated clearly and executed efficiently.
Operational Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the product management team, helping to resolve bottlenecks and maintain momentum.
Skills & Experience
Professional Background
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 0–2 years of experience in product management or related fields (experience in CPaaS or SaaS industries is highly preferred).
Technical Competencies
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of SaaS and CPaaS business models (subscription vs. pay-as-you-go). Familiarity with core technologies like APIs, SMPP, HTTP, WebRTC, and cloud communication tools (SMS, Voice, Video) is a distinct advantage.
Agile Proficiency: Basic understanding of the product development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
Tooling: Experience with management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Trello.
Data Analysis: Foundational skills in analyzing metrics using tools such as Google Analytics or Tableau.
